"Imaginative Acrylics"
- 8 Week Class: April 11th-June 6th, Monday evenings 6:30-9:00PM (except Monday, April 25th...No Class)
- Helen F. Howerton, artist will present a variety of techniques using Acrylic Paints
- Exploring this versatile medium along with discussion of painting principles including composition, color and style will help the beginning or accomplished painter. Ideas can be used in realistic, imporessionistic, or abstract desgins.
- Each student will receive individual attention and is encouraged to work on subjects that inspire them. Students may bring their own photo references or bring a work in progress.
- All Skill Levels. Students under 16 must be approved by instructor.

"Bird and Animal Painting"
- Choose From 3 Sessions: March 22 & 23 (Tue/Wed), April 8 & 9 (Fri/Sat), or April 26 & 27 (Tue/Wed), 9:00-3:30PM Daily
- Helen F. Howerton, artist will share her techniqe for creating realistic art images of wildlife that bring life to the canvas.
- Each student is given individual attention.
- Discussions include the principles of design and color. Helen will also provide demo painting.

- We will explore the creative ways to get a variety of effects from glazing to texturizing with the versatile medium of acrylic paint. Techniques may be used for impressionistic, realistic, or abstract styles for renderings of any subject.
- Helen will include demos and give each student individual attention.
